AI feedback for IELTS Writing and Speaking
Get an instant estimated band, then optional AI feedback from Mr. Yeti, using your own free Gemini key or a limited daily allowance on ours.
How it works
1. Answer a task
Write an essay or record a Speaking answer in the practice area.
2. Get an instant estimate
Every answer gets an estimated band straight away, free.
3. Ask for AI feedback
Mr. Yeti explains your score against the IELTS criteria and suggests what to fix next.
Use your own free Gemini key
AI feedback runs on Google’s Gemini. We cover a limited number of requests each day. Add your own free key and the feedback runs on your own Google quota instead.
- Create a free key in Google AI Studio.
- Paste it in Settings on IELTSAlert. We check that it works.
- Remove it any time from the same place.
AI feedback is a study aid. It can be wrong, and its band estimates are not official IELTS scores.
