- Typical IELTS requirement
- Often 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0; colleges may accept a little lower.
- Tuition (rough guide)
- Roughly CAD 20,000–50,000 a year; some programmes cost more.
- Student visa
- Study permit: letter of acceptance, provincial attestation letter (for most students), proof of funds and biometrics.
- Working while you study
- Part-time work is allowed for eligible students; limits have changed recently, so check IRCC.
- After you graduate
- Graduates of eligible programmes may apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
