- Typical IELTS requirement
- Often 6.5–7.0 overall; competitive universities may ask for more.
- Tuition (rough guide)
- Roughly USD 25,000–60,000 a year; public and private universities differ a lot.
- Student visa
- F-1 student visa: Form I-20 from your school, SEVIS fee, DS-160 form and a visa interview.
- Working while you study
- Mostly on-campus work during study; CPT may apply for some programmes.
- After you graduate
- Optional Practical Training (OPT), with an extension for eligible STEM degrees.
